Pryde Business Systems builds only new computers with the latest hardware and operating system software. Used computers are often unable to run the latest software applications.

Is the computer customized for your particular needs?

Pryde Business Systems builds custom computers specifically for your exact needs (or future needs). Our engineers and technicians will make recommendations, however you are in complete control of the exact performance and cost of your computer.

Does the computer use an industry standard size case and power supply? Is it of solid construction?

Pryde Business Systems uses standard size metal-sided cases (not ‘plastic and tin foil’) that accept industry standard motherboards and components. Replacement or upgraded components can be installed without the problems that some proprietary computers present.

Does the computer use an industry standard motherboard and processor?

Pryde Business Systems uses ATX industry standard motherboards with AMD or Intel Pentium processors. Pryde does not use the lower performance processors, as do some of the mass marketed proprietary computer makers. Some vendors use extremely proprietary motherboard designs that do not support straightforward upgrade procedures.

Does the computer use non-proprietary peripheral components?

Pryde Business Systems uses only industry standard floppy disk drives, hard drives, CD drives, and other drives. Some vendors use components with proprietary shapes to fit their proprietary case design.

Does the computer come with a genuine Microsoft Windows? (or other operating system) CD?

Pryde Business Systems computers include a genuine Windows (or other) CD-ROM with the original manufacturer's packaging. Many proprietary vendors use a proprietary CD-ROM that allows only a complete ‘system restore’ to the manufacturers original configuration.

Does the computer vendor have anyone locally to call? What are their qualifications?

Pryde Business Systems is locally owned and staffed by qualified engineers and technicians. We can normally provide quick answers to our customers, or offer our services for hire as needed.
